In 2018, desktops are not obsolete at all. They are customizable, they last, and are an efficient work or home computer.The searches on Google are constant, and it is still commonly used. MacBooks were searched more, but desktops are faster than laptops, and comes with more benefits. However, it seems clear that desktops will eventually be obsolete. As technology progresses, laptops will have longer battery, and greater performance, which will eventually surpass desktops. For the next few years however, we can all enjoy the benefits of owning a desktop. The reliability and performance it offers cannot be found anywhere else right now, and in conclusion, desktops are not obsolete.
